Carl Paganelli served and mentored officials at all levels of football for 58 years.
He was an internationally recognized presenter on football rules, mechanics and philosophy.
Among his roles in leadership, he has served as Supervisor of Officials for the AFL and XFL and the Mid-American Conference.
He also served the community in numerous charitable and civic endeavors, including being a First Ward Commissioner in Wyoming.
?He and his wife, Mary were the parents of three sons, all of whom followed in the footsteps of their father and then went on to become NFL officials. Paganelli and his three sons, Carl Jr., Perry and Dino, were inducted to the Hall of Fame as a Team in 2018.
He died in 2019 at the age of 82.
