Warren Reynolds Lifetime Achievement Award
Induction Year: 2010

The Original Gus Macker 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament was started in 1974 by Scott McNeal (alias Gus Macker) and his brother Mitch on their parents’ driveway basketball court in Lowell.
It started with 18 friends playing competitively for $18.
Gus Macker Basketball incorporated, moved to Belding in 1987 and became a national phenomenon, drawing up to 5,000 teams to Belding and touring with events in cities throughout the U.S. and Canada.
By 2010, when inducted to the Hall of Fame, two million players had competed in Macker tournaments in front of 23 million spectators while associated non-profits had raised millions of dollars for charity.
