Mike Franckowiak led West Catholic to the 1970 City League title and Central Michigan University to the 1974 NCAA Division II National Championship as a quarterback, placekicker and punter.
He played four years in the NFL with the Denver Broncos and Buffalo Bills as a tight end, fullback and placekicker.
He then spent over two decades on Wall Street as a trader of stocks and financial instruments along with his wife, Gay Ebers-Franckowiak, a Morgan Stanley managing partner.
