Chris Kaman was a standout basketball player at Tri-unity Christian High School, Central Michigan University and with five teams over 13 years in the NBA. As a dual-citizen of the United States and Germany, he also played for the German National Team in the 2008 Olympic Games in China. At Tri-unity he led his team to the state tournament quarterfinals in 2000, and was the Mid-American Conference Player of the Year during a stellar career at CMU that included a MAC championship, NCAA Tournament appearance and first-round win in 2003.

He was drafted No. 6 overall by the Los Angeles Clippers in the 2003 NBA Draft and played 13 years in the NBA on five teams averaging 11 points and 8 rebounds per game for his career. He was an NBA All-Star in 2010 while playing for the Clippers with his best year statistically averaging 18.5 points and 9 rebounds per game. His unique personality was showcased in a website reality program he produced with friends called “Exploring Kaman.”
