Individuals
Induction Year: 2019

Jack was inducted as the 2019 Warren Reynolds Lifetime Achievement Award Winner for his work as the Sports Director of WOOD-TV.
His career has included coverage of more than 10 Olympic Games, Michigan and Michigan State teams in the Final Four, Detroit teams in the World Series, NBA Finals and Stanley Cup Finals. He has stayed ready in case the Lions make it to the Super Bowl, but he has covered that event, too.
He joined TV 8 in 1990, won the prestigious Edward R. Murrow Award multiple times as well as several Emmys and other industry awards.
He first worked for Warren Reynolds, who preceded him as sports director.
As the anchor of the weeknight sportscasts, Doles created the “Olympic Hopes, Gold Dreams” shows, the popular “Doles’ Bananas” highlight segments and the “Football Frenzy” coverage of high school football. As a Grand Rapids Sports Hall of Fame trustee, he helped create the charity-driven Positively Warren Golf Tournament.
