Class B State Champions

Induction Year: 2013

The Caledonia High School Girls Cross-Country teams of 1993, 1994, 1995 and 1996 not only won the Class B State Championship all four years, but never lost a dual meet, invitational or regional contest during the same period.
Coached by Dave Hodgkinson, the Fighting Scots were so fast, their times would have earned them the Class A title all four years, had they raced in that division.
Significantly, the same girls were also named to the Academic All-State Teams in Class B all four years, and in 1995, their average GPA was a sterling 3.98, based on a 4.0 scale. ?For more than 20 years, track records set by girls from these teams still stood at Caledonia High.
